Nancy Nwadire is giving the girls plenty of options to flaunt their forms with her latest offering.
The collection seems to play upon the seen and unseen– several pieces are constructed with sheer, lacy paneling, sometimes embellished with beads and sequins for extra sparkle. From daisy shapes to more abstract, graphic patterning, Nwadire adds a dose of sex appeal to flowing gowns, saucy crop tops, and even trousers.
Nwadire appeases the print fans with a selection of jubilant wax print pieces. One of my favorites was this short playsuit/overall hybrid piece, which could be a fun look for Solange Knowles.
A slew of beaded gowns added to the glamorous mood, with Nwadire adding ruffled flourishes– hip peplums to a couple looks.
There are several pieces in here that I like! Nwadire has dressed the likes of Melanie Fiona andEssence magazine editor Susan Taylor. However, it would be nice to see Ciara take a twirl in one of the more revealing gowns. The girl has a pair of legs that should not be covered up!
